Uttar Kamalabari satra is situated in middle Majuli(Kamalabari). First Satradhikar of this Satra Ramdev Sataria. It is established by Badala Padmaata (1673). Present Satradhikar of uttar kamalaabari Janardan Devagoswami. Total population of this satra about 90 people (26 families). There is a musium which innclude Big Sarai, Silver & Copper goods , Bindaboni Cloth sample, Sasipat etc. This Satra mainly depended on Culture (Satryia dance, Bargeet etc). In 1975 this satra people are going Foreign for performing satryia dance also they are going to outside of india for performing their culture like China, London, Singapure, America , Japan, Nepal, Bhutan etc.. Raasleela is the major festival of Majuli's Satras like other Satras. During Raasleela, several thousand devotees visit the holy Satra every year with the occasion now observed as one of the National Festivals of Assam. The Satras are not merely religious institutions but play cultural and historical roles in society. A dance form initiated by Srimanta Sankardeva and later developed within the Satra is thus called Sattriya and forms one of the eight classical Indian dance styles. This Satra celebrate the festivels like Tithi of Sankardeva & Madhabdeva, Badula Padma Ata Tiruvab Tithi, Holi, Raasleela etc.
